Senior QA Engineer - Nuclear Power Plant Engineering/ Ingnieur Senior Assurance Qualit H/F

As a key contributor to the engineering software team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of advanced engineering tools used in the design and operation of power plants. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality, safety-compliant engineering solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in the global energy sector. You will be responsible for driving testing and quality assurance activities for state-of-the-art in-house developed power plant and power plant component engineering tools to improve productivity, ensure reliability, and compliance with Nuclear Safety requirements. Your duties will include diagnosing bugs, documenting problem statements, formulating solutions, and estimating efforts for both immediate and long-term solutions. Additionally, you will provide expertise in quality engineering, test planning, and testing methodology for engineering tools. You will develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases, as well as manually test and validate engineering tool releases. Providing technical support and training to end users of engineering tools, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to engineering data, performance, reliability, and usability of engineering tools will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential for you to have a Bachelor's Degree in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), while a Master's degree would be a plus. Professional experience in at least one engineering discipline such as Thermodynamic, Aerodynamic, Heat Transfer, or Fluid Mechanics is required. Experience in using engineering tools for tendering and/or execution of power plant projects, testing desktop applications and/or web services, test automation, agile project management, and familiarity with standard software development kits are also necessary.
