Senior Quality Assurance Engineer / Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for

  web-based cloud applications

  .
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, system, database, performance, security, and exploratory testing

  .
• Conduct

  Web API testing

  using tools like Postman/Swagger or equivalent.
• Carry out

  database testing

  , validate data integrity, and write/execute

  SQL queries

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, and PMs) to ensure product quality and seamless release cycles.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defect tracking, and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Provide input for process improvements and contribute to QA best practices.
• Mentor junior QA team members when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years

  of hands-on experience in

  Software Testing

  (Manual + Automation preferred).
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies

  .
• Proven expertise in

  Regression Testing, Database Testing, Web API Testing, and UI Testing

  .
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  with the ability to write complex queries for backend testing.
• Basic programming knowledge in

  PowerShell, JavaScript, or related scripting languages

  .
• Knowledge of

  automation testing tools

  (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Excellent

  English verbal and written communication skills

  – must be able to articulate clearly in reports, documentation, and discussions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum environments

  .
• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)

  .
• Hands-on knowledge of

  cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

  will be a plus.
