Senior QA Engineer Java/Selenium

As a QA Automation Engineer (Java/Selenium) at Beyond Key, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple trading and data platforms in the Capital Markets domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and executing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Implementing frameworks such as Hybrid, Page Object Model (POM), and BDD (Cucumber). - Building and executing API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger. - Conducting schema validation, authentication, request chaining, and using mocking tools (WireMock / Postman Mock Server). - Working with TestNG/JUnit for test orchestration, assertions, and execution reporting. - Managing test data (Excel / CSV / JSON) and generating detailed automation reports (Extent / Allure Reports). - Performing backend validation using JDBC and analyzing application logs for issue triage. - Integrating automation pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Collaborating with developers and QA peers to maintain quality across releases. In terms of technical skills and tools, you should have a strong command of Java (OOPs, Collections, Streams, Exception Handling, File I/O) along with experience in framework design using Maven / Gradle and version control with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket. Additionally, proficiency in UI and API automation, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML parsing, and API contract testing is required. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is also essential. Your domain expertise should include a strong understanding of Capital Markets, including Trade Lifecycle, OMS/RMS, and Post-Trade Processing. Exposure to testing Equity, Derivatives, and Fixed Income products is necessary, along with familiarity with Market Data Feeds, Risk & Margin systems, and Regulatory workflows (MiFID II, SEBI). Experience in validating Trade Reconciliation, Allocation, and Settlement flows will be beneficial.
