Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using

    Playwright

    and

    Selenium

    .
  • Develop and execute

    API automation

    using

    Rest Assured

    or similar tools.
  • Perform performance testing for both

    Monolith

    and

    Microservices

    architectures.
  • Conduct security checks and ensure code quality using

    SonarQube

    .
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to identify risks early and prevent defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution across environments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation scripts for reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and frameworks.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software testing with strong automation background.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and Selenium including framework design and debugging.
  • Solid knowledge of API testing and integration.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture and performance testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with security testing concepts (e.g., SQLi, password enumeration).
  • Experience working with SonarQube or other code quality tools.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
