Description
As a Senior Python Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing new frameworks and enhancing existing frameworks related to data pipelines, ETL, analytics, and web applications. Your role will involve influencing technology choices, supporting program operations, and enhancing technical knowledge and analytical skills in the PropTech domain. Responsibilities: - Develop plans to build prototype solutions for acquiring and integrating new data sources into the information infrastructure. - Lead engagement with colleagues and internal customers to understand current business processes and develop/re-engineer supporting data management processes. - Provide implementation support for migrating departmental and business processes to strategic solutions. - Ensure the development of documentation and communication materials for accurate usage and interpretation of data. - Consult with team members to improve data quality and process efficiency, and mentor analysts on proper standards/techniques. - Work as a member of a high-performing team and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience & Education: - Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. Advanced degree preferred. - 3-5 years of work experience in information science, data management, or computer science. - Expertise in Python programming language (from a software development perspective) with full stack development as a plus. - Experience with data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and/or business intelligence in a complex environment. - Prior experience with Reporting/Visualization Tools like Tableau preferred. - Ability to scope, plan, and execute projects in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced analytical and presentation skills using tools like MS Powerpoint. Technical Skills & Competencies: - Expertise in Python programming language, SQL databases (MSSQL), and no-SQL databases (Mongo, Neo4j). - Exposure to cloud environments and technologies, preferably Azure. - Experience with web frameworks such as Django/Flask, TDD, Agile development process, and Git source control. - Strong communication skills with diverse backgrounds, technical writing, and documentation abilities. - Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a team player.
