Job Summary:

Senior Python Backend Engineer

This is a core software engineering role not related to data science, machine learning, or data annotation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement
modular, production-ready APIs
for real-world services
Follow
Test Driven Development (TDD)
— writing tests before implementation
Build high-performance backend services with a strong focus on reliability and scalability
Design and optimize
database schemas and data models
Maintain clear, developer-friendly
API documentation
Own technical decisions and clearly explain design trade-offs
Work at high velocity while maintaining code quality and maintainability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years
of hands-on, production-grade
Python development
Strong experience in
backend service development and API design
Solid understanding of
system design principles
Hands-on experience with
TDD
and writing robust test suites
Strong fundamentals in
database schema design and data modeling
Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills
Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership
