Senior Python Engineer (AI)

As a Senior Python Engineer at RedCompass Labs, you will play a crucial role in transforming cutting-edge research and prototypes into robust, production-ready AI solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and scale sophisticated multi-agent workflows that automate complex financial analysis tasks, ultimately reducing time-consuming processes to more efficient and manageable durations. You will be expected to engineer robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, leveraging financial rulebooks, regulatory documentation, and client knowledge bases. Additionally, you will develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs primarily using Python and FastAPI, deployed in Azure cloud environments. It will be essential for you to implement and enhance MLOps and DevOps practices, utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration. Collaboration with product managers, domain experts, and UX designers will also be a key aspect of your role, translating complex business requirements into clear and impactful features. The ideal candidate for this position is a product-centric engineer who excels in facing complex challenges, rapidly acquiring new technical skills, and delivering impactful AI solutions. You should possess a minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong proficiency in Python. An interest or experience in modern AI and Large Language Model frameworks is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with cloud-native software development, containerization, and orchestration technologies. Continuous learning and the ability to adapt to new technologies and AI tools effectively are also crucial qualities we are looking for. In addition to the technical qualifications, previous experience with multi-agent systems or complex workflow automation, as well as familiarity with high-performance API frameworks such as FastAPI, would be considered as bonus qualifications.
