Senior Python Developer

As a Python Developer with 12-15 years of experience, your responsibilities will include being hands-on in designing and implementing performant, quality, and scalable systems. You will review designs of other teams, ramp up on the end-to-end platform and product quickly, and be involved in solutioning and evaluating the feasibility of ideas/projects. Interface with PM, QA, Customer success teams, managers, and provide mentorship. You will have end-to-end ownership of deliverables with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and documentation. To excel in this role, you should have solid systems expertise and be proficient in Python, MongoDB, Kafka, and Elasticsearch. A good understanding of Kubernetes, Cloud, large-scale distributed systems architecture, and data-driven development is essential. You should possess excellent performance optimization, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additionally, having a breadth of knowledge in areas like web apps, infrastructure, and APIs is beneficial. Your ability to quickly ramp up, communicate clearly, drive to clarity, and take initiative in different situations will be key to success. You should be able to think of possible solutions quickly, suggest alternative solutions, and balance ideas around the platform and product with your technical acumen. Working with tight deadlines and changing priorities should not be a challenge for you. Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment would be preferred for this role.
