Tenure : 12-month Contract (Contract-to-Hire)

About The Role

Senior Python Developer

over 7 years of experience

12-month contract (with the potential to convert to a full-time role)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
• Design and implement APIs using FastAPI.
• Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, frontend developers, and product managers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years- of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in building and scaling complex applications.
• Proficiency in FastAPI and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and backend engineering principles.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
