Senior Python Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Python Developer at our leading technology enabled legal services company, you will play a key role in maintaining, updating, and optimizing a wide range of Python applications across our ecosystem. Your critical contribution is essential to ensure our systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You will collaborate closely with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Update, enhance, and maintain existing Python applications across the company's ecosystem. - Refactor and modernize legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability. - Contribute to data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS and develop reports using Power BI. - Debug, investigate, and resolve complex issues in production and staging environments. - Ensure seamless integration between Python applications and other internal or third-party systems. - Collaborate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers. - Monitor application performance, implementing improvements to enhance scalability and stability. - Document solutions, processes, and technical decisions for knowledge sharing. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - 5+ years of professional experience in Python development. - Solid experience working with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and asynchronous programming. - Experience in ETL Tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory. - Experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI. - Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows. - Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills. - Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Ability to work independently, within a team, and deliver finished products from loosely defined requirements. - Ability to provide effective training and presentations to project stakeholders.,
