Role & responsibilities

Develop end-to-end
test automation scripts
for web and mobile applications using
Python & Selenium/Appium
.
Design, implement, and maintain
robust automation frameworks
and reusable components.
Analyze
CI/CD automation execution failures
, identify root causes, and improve test reliability.
Own the application from a
QA perspective
and ensure high-quality automation coverage.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve blockers proactively.
Continuously identify opportunities to
improve framework, tools, and automation efficiency
.
Provide
technical leadership
to the team, review automation code, and mentor junior engineers.
Work closely with global teams (including US counterparts) and participate in
nightly meetings
when required.

Preferred candidate profile

8 to 12 years
of experience in Python-based test automation, with strong hands-on skills in
Selenium
and automation frameworks.
Strong expertise in
Python programming
, OOPs concepts, and test frameworks like
PyTest or unittest
.
Experience in
web/mobile UI automation
and tools such as Selenium/Appium.
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
and tools like Jenkins, Git, JIRA, etc.
Excellent
analytical, logical thinking
, problem-solving abilities, and ability to handle challenges independently.
Self-driven, proactive, and capable of owning deliverables end-to-end.
Ability to lead a team (68 members), provide guidance, and contribute individually.
Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with international teams.
