Senior Public Relations Manager

The Senior Manager PR will lead strategic communication initiatives, strengthen media relationships, and drive high-impact narratives for the organisation and its clients. This role demands strong leadership, strategic clarity, and the ability to contribute to both brand building and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  
• Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with top-tier media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  
• Oversee creation of press releases, statements, thought leadership content, and media communication.
  
• Lead press conferences, interviews, and media interactions for senior leadership.
  
• Manage client communication, ensuring timely updates, alignment, and high-quality delivery.
  
• Monitor media trends, identify opportunities, and proactively pitch stories.
  
• Guide and mentor the PR team, ensuring smooth execution across accounts.
  
• Manage crisis communication planning and response with agility and clarity.
  
• Track coverage, prepare reports, and measure the effectiveness of PR efforts.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (digital, creative, strategy) for integrated communication.
  
• Contribute to business development through networking, pitching, identifying new opportunities, and supporting proposal creation.
  

Requirements:

• 8 - 13 years of experience in PR or communications, preferably within an agency.
  
• Strong media network across print, digital, and broadcast.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proven client management and team leadership experience.
  
• Ability to work under pressure with strong decision-making capability.
  
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.
  
• A proactive mindset toward business generation and revenue contribution.
