Senior Project Manager - VEEVA Products

Overall Experience of 12-16 Years.

10+ years of experience in Life Sciences preferably using VEEVA Products etc with strong foundational experience

6+ years managing projects using Agile (Scrum) and traditional methodologies

4+ years of experience leading software product development teams

6+ years experience in People Management - conducting reviews, giving feedback, and growing individual contributors.

Technical/ Engineering Management:

Be well-versed with Life Sciences Domain and using VEEVA products for application development.

Understand the customer technology landscape to provide necessary guidance to the engineering team

Lead, mentor, and manage a high performing team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and career development opportunities.

Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Leverage engineering tools and frameworks to drive thought leadership

Project Management:

Plan, execute, and manage projects, including defining scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, and managing risks.

Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.

Process Management:

Design, implement, and continuously improve engineering processes to enhance productivity, code quality, and operational efficiency.

Monitor team performance, set objectives, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Drive a culture of high-quality software delivery with strong emphasis on code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.

Security and Compliance Awareness - Implement Security best practices - secure coding, data privacy, and compliance

Stakeholder Management:

Excellent Communication and documentation skills to provide clear and concise updates

Collaborate with product and business stakeholders, to align engineering efforts with strategic objectives.

Product Management:

Work closely with product managers to understand product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure engineering solutions meet business requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert for the product features and drive technical excellence by establishing industry best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement processes
