Senior Project Engineer (Commercial Projects)

As a Senior Project Engineer in Civil Engineering (Commercial Projects) at Micromitti, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and supervision of commercial civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with sustainability standards by coordinating with design, project management, and on-site teams. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise on-site civil engineering activities for commercial projects, such as foundations, structures, finishing, and site works. - Coordinate with project managers, architects, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure integrated project execution. - Review construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material submittals for feasibility and compliance. - Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. - Conduct quality inspections, site audits, and safety checks to maintain project standards. - Support vendor and subcontractor management to ensure adherence to project and sustainability standards. - Identify technical or operational challenges and implement practical solutions. - Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and as-built records. - Mentor junior engineers and site staff to foster a culture of accountability and sustainable construction practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering. - 10+ years of experience in civil engineering for commercial projects (offices, retail, mixed-use). - Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, commercial building codes, and materials. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering software tools. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. - Familiarity with green building practices, LEED/GRIHA standards, and sustainable construction materials is preferred.,
