Senior Program Manager - SW Platform Solutions (Tools)

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Software Program Manager to join the Central PMO in the Technology Planning and Edge Solutions (TPE) group. As a key member of the Product and SW Platform Solution team, you will lead program management efforts across various business units, focusing on planning and execution in multiple technology areas and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include building a strong technical and program understanding to drive overall program alignment, scoping, planning, and prioritization. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to establish clear commitments and enable prioritization. Additionally, you will develop program indicators to manage program health, streamline the development cycle, manage customer and stakeholder expectations, and communicate complex information effectively to multiple audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of embedded software technology, development tools, and cloud services. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership abilities, and 10+ years of experience in software product development and program management in the embedded software industry. Experience with software development life cycles, end-to-end product integration, and managing operating budgets and resources is required. Educational requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
