Description
As a Senior Production Manager (Engineering) for our electrical panel manufacturing operations, your role will involve leading the production team to ensure efficiency, maintain quality standards, and drive profitability. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Production Planning and Execution: - Plan and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules. - Ensure efficient utilization of resources like manpower, materials, and equipment. - Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays effectively. - Team Management: - Lead and motivate a team of production engineers, technicians, and operators. - Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members. - Cultivate a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Inventory Control and Cost Management: - Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. - Implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize resource utilization. - Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads. - Quality and Reliability: - Ensure adherence to quality and reliability standards for all electrical panels and systems. - Implement quality control processes to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent defects. - Project Execution: - Oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. - Technical Expertise: - Provide technical guidance and support to the production team. - Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical panel manufacturing technology. - Safety and Compliance: - Ensure all production activities comply with safety standards. - Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of HT, MV, and LV power systems, as well as power electronics systems. - Proven track record of driving production efficiency, quality, and profitability. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Skills: - Experience with POWER SYSTEMS Design and Manufacturing, including automation and control systems. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, and project management tools. - Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards. Please note that the job is Full-time and the work location is in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Experience in operations management is required. Proficiency in Telugu and English is required, with Hindi being preferred.,
