Senior Production Chemist – Liquid Form

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Production Chemist to oversee the manufacturing of liquid dosage forms such as asava and arishta, juices, oils and syrups. The role requires strong technical knowledge, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production of liquid dosage forms in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot liquid manufacturing equipment (mixers, filtration units, filling lines, etc.).
• Ensure accurate batch documentation, process parameters, and in-process quality checks.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Monitor raw material usage and optimise yields to minimise wastage.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance of liquid production machinery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Pharm. / M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Chemistry / related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in liquid dosage form manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (Ayush / FSSAI / Pharma).
• Hands-on experience with asava and arishta, juices, oils and syrups preparation, filtration, and filling operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple production batches efficiently.
