Senior Product Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Software Testing / Software Quality Assurance (QA) engineer at DigiValet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will be an integral member of the quality team responsible for performing manual as well as automation tests. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement test cases, debug issues, and define corrective actions. - Review system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. - Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements. - Write user stories to address business and user needs effectively. - Document testing phases and defects by creating logs. - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure product quality. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. **Required Skills:** - 4 to 6 years of experience in Manual/Automation software testing. - Proficient in Manual Testing including Black Box, Usability, GUI, Responsive, Functional, Regression, Smoke & Sanity testing. - Hands-on experience in testing Mobile Applications (Android & IOS), Web Applications, Home Automation, IOT Applications, and Hardware Testing. - Capable of performing Exploratory and non-functional testing. - Good understanding of Database testing and SQL server queries. - Familiarity with Automation testing tools, particularly Selenium Web Driver, is an advantage. - Working knowledge of various SDLC & STLC methodologies like Waterfall, V-Model & Agile. - Strong understanding of Testing Practices such as Test Planning, Test Case Preparation, Bug Tracking, Defect Life Cycle, and Matrix (RTM). - Proactive communication with project stakeholders/clients to address issues affecting testing efforts. **Personality Attributes:** - Self-starter with confidence. - Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
