You will be responsible for performing manual as well as automation tests to ensure the quality of DigiValet products. As a member of the quality team, you will play a vital role in bringing these products to life. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing test cases, debugging, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements, write user stories, create testing phase logs, and conduct post-release testing. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should have 4 to 6 years of experience in manual and automation software testing. You should be proficient in various testing types such as Black Box, Usability, GUI, Responsive, Functional, Regression, Smoke & Sanity testing. Experience in testing Mobile Applications, Web Applications, Home Automation, IoT Applications, and Hardware Testing is essential. You should be capable of performing Exploratory and non-functional testing, possess good knowledge of Database testing and SQL server queries, and familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium Web Driver. Understanding of SDLC & STLC methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model & Agile is crucial. Moreover, you should be well-versed in Testing Practices including Test Planning, Test Case Preparation, Bug Tracking, Defect Life Cycle, and Matrix (RTM). Effective communication with project stakeholders/clients to resolve testing impediments is also expected.
