About the Role

The role involves analyzing railway specifications and translating them into structured product requirement documents while serving as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and alignment with operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret railway specifications (RDSO, IR, Metro, EN, IEC) for condition monitoring products across coach, wagon, locomotive, OHE, and track domains.
• Translate specifications into structured product requirement documents (PRDs) for engineering teams.
• Serve as liaison between domain experts, railway customers, RDSO, Railway Board, and internal hardware/software/AI teams to align solutions with operational needs.
• Ensure technical compliance via design reviews, traceability matrices, and validation protocols per Indian Railway/RDSO standards.
• Coordinate with RDSO, customers, certification, and testing agencies for prototype approval and field trials.
• Monitor competitive benchmarking of Indian and international railway solutions to inform product roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of RDSO, Indian Railway, metro processes, and relevant national/international standards.
• Experience with embedded systems, machine vision, sensors, and AI/ML products in the railway sector.
• Skilled in CAD drawings, technical schematics, BoMs, and engineering change documentation.
• Proficient in product/project management, MS Office, and requirement tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Qualifications

• BE, BTech, ME, MTech, M.Sc. (EEE, ENI, ECE, Railway Engineering)
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
