Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at Salesforce working on Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server, your primary focus will be on user, identity, and access management. You will play a crucial role in shaping Tableau's strategy to ensure admin users can effectively manage and secure their Tableau deployment. By collaborating closely with engineering, customers, and partners, you will bring new capabilities to market, address real-world use cases, and drive product adoption. Your responsibilities will include defining, scoping, and delivering products and features that enhance the admin user experience, evaluating product success through quantitative data analysis and customer feedback, managing products throughout their life cycles, and participating in strategy development and market analysis. You will also be responsible for presenting product plans to senior executives, leading roadmap discussions, and presenting Tableau product capabilities, vision, value propositions, and roadmap briefings to various audiences. To excel in this role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in Product Management with a focus on identity and access management. You should possess extensive knowledge of SCIM, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OIDC protocols, as well as a strong understanding of BI technologies and concepts. Your passion for building software, understanding customer needs, and bringing products to market will be essential. Additionally, your curiosity, enthusiasm for new ideas, ability to engage in technical engineering conversations, and leadership skills will drive positive change and inspire trust. As a customer and user-focused individual, you will need strong communication skills to convey a vision of the future and engage diverse audiences effectively. Your self-motivation and commitment to driving projects from start to finish will be key to your success in this role. By working cross-functionally with various teams within Tableau and Salesforce, you will contribute to the evolution of our platform and the future of analytics.
