Youll be responsible for leading complex design initiatives, crafting intuitive and accessible user interfaces, and mentoring other designers and engineers. This role requires a strategic thinker, a design system advocate, and a hands-on contributor who can bring ideas to life with precision and empathy. Roles & Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Lead complex design initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing and strategy to execution and launch. Define product vision in collaboration with Product Managers and leadership, turning user insights into impactful product decisions. Architect innovative solutions for ambiguous problem spaces, involving complex user journeys and systems thinking. Stay ahead of UX trends , tools, and technologies (e.g., AI in UX, advanced prototyping) to maintain cutting-edge product experiences. User Research & Insight Plan and execute advanced qualitative and quantitative user research , including persona development, journey mapping, usability testing, and market analysis. Translate research into actionable insights that inform design and product strategy. UX/UI Design Execution Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes , and visually consistent UI designs with a strong attention to detail. Build responsive, performant, and accessible interfaces optimized for web and mobile platforms. Conduct UX audits and continuously improve the user experience through data-driven iteration . Design Systems & Development Contribute to and evolve our design systems and component libraries for scale and consistency across teams. Partner closely with engineers to ensure design fidelity, seamless handoff, and front-end implementation alignment . Advocate for usability, accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive design across all touchpoints. Collaboration & Mentorship Mentor and coach junior and mid-level designers, offering constructive feedback and skill development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to align user needs with business goals. Communicate design rationale effectively, negotiate trade-offs , and foster strong team alignment. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, UX Engineering, or a related role. Strong experience and mindset of building customer experience focused product designs for Web, Mobile applications for Customer (B2C) and Businesses (B2B) Experience in application of usability requirements & best practices into the design stage to meet customer persona needs. Strong portfolio demonstrating UX leadership in complex web/mobile applications. Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD , or similar design tools. Advanced front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) . Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design , and performance best practices. Experience conducting and analyzing user research. Strong communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in agile product teams or start-up environments Experience in building for Healthcare and preferably for USA /Europe markets Background in data visualization, AI-driven UX , or designing for SaaS platforms . Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Hotjar, GA4) for UX insights. Contribution to open-source design systems or UX thought leadership is a plus.
