Senior Product Architect

The Senior Product Architecture Engineer plays a crucial role as a lead individual contributor in steering the architectural roadmap of the platform. Your responsibilities include taking ownership of designing and evolving the platform's microservices architecture, integrating advanced features, and guiding cross-team efforts to enhance scalability, observability, and reliability. You will work hands-on with modern cloud technologies and function as a technical leader to ensure that engineering teams follow best practices and that the platform architecture aligns with business goals. In this role, you will drive microservices architecture design and evolution, owning the roadmap for scalability and defining Kubernetes container sizing and resource allocation best practices. Your deep expertise in microservices architecture will involve designing RESTful/event-driven services, defining boundaries, optimizing communication, and experience in refactoring/greenfield and cloud patterns. You will also lead platform improvements, overseeing technical enhancements for AI-driven features and architect comprehensive observability by deploying metrics, tracing, and logging tools. As a Senior Product Architecture Engineer, you will define container sizing, lead Kubernetes performance benchmarking, provide deployment/infrastructure expertise, and lead tooling/automation enhancements. You will also lead the evolution to event-driven, distributed workflows, collaborate across teams for architectural alignment, and mentor engineers on coding, design, and architecture best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting architecture decisions and communicating complex technical concepts for roadmap transparency. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5+ years of experience in software engineering, a strong background in designing distributed systems, and a proven track record of improving scalability and maintainability. Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, deployment automation, config management, observability frameworks, message brokers, distributed data stores, technical communication, and leadership is necessary for success in this position.
