Job Description

As a Senior Principal Verification Engineer at NXP, you will play a crucial role in the SOC Verification team by taking ownership and leading the functional Verification of NXP SOCs and Sub-Systems. Your responsibilities will revolve around utilizing cutting-edge technology and methodologies to ensure the successful verification of these systems. Collaboration with various teams including Architecture, IP providers, Design, DFT, backend, and FW/SW teams will be essential to guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of the verification process. Your main tasks will include: - Understanding product requirements and developing Verification plans that align with the specifications provided. - Involvement in the development of Pre-Silicon Verification environments and executing Verification Plans meticulously to achieve the desired outcomes in the first attempt. - Developing Subsystem/SoC Verification Environments and Coverage plans to enhance the overall verification process. To excel in this role, you are expected to showcase exceptional self-motivation, effective communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset. Being adaptable to a dynamic work environment and efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously are key attributes that will contribute to your success. Moreover, your ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, whether local or remote, will be crucial in achieving the objectives of the verification process. Key Skills required for this role include: - Expertise in Microcontroller and Microprocessor architecture. - Familiarity with ARM Cores A/M/R series, Interconnect technologies such as NIC and FlexNoC, and Cache Coherency concepts. - Proficiency in protocols like AHB/AMBA, AXI, ACE, OCP, various memory types, and automotive protocols like LIN, CAN, as well as multimedia/networking protocols. - Experience with System Verilog/UVM, formal verification methods, Emulation/FPGA models, assembly programming, and scripting languages like Perl, TCL, and Python.
