Senior Principal NetSuite Technical Consultant

As an experienced consulting professional in Oracle products and technology, your role involves a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and multiple business processes. Operating independently, you will deliver quality work products to engagements by implementing Oracle products to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include varied and complex duties that require independent judgment, following Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Your typical workload will offer a diverse range of tasks, providing a great opportunity to step out of normal routines. Your responsibilities will break down into the following rough percentages: - 30% scripting, QA, creating and executing test plans - 30% customer-facing activities, such as walking through use cases, reviewing test plans, and problem-solving - 15% attending internal meetings, including knowledge transfers and mentoring sessions - 10% integration consulting with customers and third-party systems - 10% executive updates, documentation, and project management - 5% data migration Key Responsibilities: - Track and report project progress using NetSuite and Jira - Define custom scripts on NetSuite's SuiteCloud platform - Collaborate with other NetSuite consultants to validate requirements - Produce system design documents and participate in technical walkthroughs - Lead technical work streams, design scripts, validate scripts, and coordinate with teams - Conduct code reviews and user acceptance testing - Assist in development, QA, and deployment processes - Work in a global team environment and mentor less experienced consultants Qualifications and Skills: - 6+ years of NetSuite or other ERP/CRM solutions experience - Degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering - NetSuite SuiteCloud development/design/testing/code review experience - Experience leading technical work streams and global delivery teams - Exposure to system architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks, and patterns - Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, JavaScript, error resolution, debugging, and more - Familiarity with IDEs, source control systems, unit-testing tools, and defect management tools - Experience with XML/XSL, Web Services, web applications, and Jira - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Travel: - Modest to moderate, as appropriate Oracle values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all kinds of people work together, believing that innovation starts with diversity and inclusion.
