Job Title: Senior PHP Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of PHP frameworks, database design, REST APIs, and modern development practices. Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior developers will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and QA to deliver features and fix bugs.
• Perform code reviews and guide junior developers as needed.
• Manage and maintain MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, including complex queries and indexing.
• Participate in software architecture decisions and technical discussions.
• Maintain documentation of architecture, code, and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 7+/8, OOP, and MVC architecture.
• Expertise in Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other modern PHP frameworks.
• Solid experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and working with third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and code optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Advanced experience with frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Basic understanding of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Linux server management or DevOps practices.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.Tech/B.E./MCA preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
