Senior Performance Engineer

As a Lead/Sr Performance Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, your role will involve being a performance test advocate and advisor to various engineering teams. You will have extensive experience in software engineering, performance engineering, site-reliability, and DevOps. Your responsibilities will include: - Advocating for performance testing and advising engineering teams - Utilizing various load testing tools for conducting performance testing - Ensuring system capacity, reliability, and scalability through performance testing - Translating test requirements into a testable design and developing test plans - Hands-on experience with JMeter & LoadRunner for performance analysis - Analyzing reports and identifying bottlenecks for tuning recommendations - Collaborating with different departments and project teams to report and resolve issues - Identifying performance bottlenecks and providing tuning recommendations using workload information and performance results - Contributing to the development and testing processes of the Performance Engineering team - Communicating and collaborating effectively across different levels and functions within the organization - Developing performance test frameworks and automation - Working with large scale distributed systems and cloud technologies Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS - Proficiency in load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, etc. - Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as New Relic, Google Analytics, CloudWatch - Experience with Continuous Integration environments Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages - Knowledge of Virtualization & Containerization (e.g., Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.) - Excellent Resiliency Engineering skills and understanding of distributed systems to enhance reliability and availability (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.),
