. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize end-to-end Pega applications aligned with business requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on Pega development expertise, and the ability to work effectively in an
Agile
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, and implement applications using Pega PRPC and industry-standard best practices.
- Build and optimize Case Management workflows, decision logic, and reusable components.
- Configure complex rules, flows, data transforms, activities, and decision tables.
- Develop user-friendly UI designs aligned with Pega UX standards.
Integration & System Configuration
- Design and implement integration services including REST, SOAP, MQ, connectors, and data pages.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure scalable and secure integrations with external systems.
Performance Optimization & Quality
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to Pega guardrails.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across environments.
- Support testing teams during unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production rollout.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC development.
- Strong knowledge of Case Management, Rules Configuration, and Pega design patterns.
- Expertise in Integration Services (REST, SOAP, APIs, connectors).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX concepts within Pega.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pega CSA or CSSA certification (highly preferred).
- Experience with Pega 8.x or later versions.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, or automated deployment tools.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
