Senior OT & Anaesthesia Technician

As an OT Technician and Anesthesia Technician, your role involves supervising the cleanliness of Operating rooms daily. You will be responsible for arranging the Anesthesia trolley and loading/labeling of Anesthetic agents according to Anesthetists" instructions. Additionally, you will maintain the drugs register day to day and refill the stock as and when required. Key Responsibilities: - Checking patients" vitals during surgery and maintaining a record of the same - Taking care of surgeons" instructions during the procedures - Sterilizing OT rooms and arranging the Anesthesia trolley for the next surgery post-case - Cleaning and disinfecting equipment like Laryngoscope with blades, Ambu bag with mask, OT table, operating lights, Ventilator tubings, LMA Masks, etc. - Properly cleaning and disinfecting machines/equipment like C-Arm, OT table, Syringe pumps, Infusion pumps, Warmer, Transport monitor, Hotline, Ultrasound, Sonosite, etc. - Maintaining a puncture-proof container in OT with Sodium hypochlorite solution 1% for needle disposal - Ensuring the cleanliness of all theatres at the end of the day - Supervising bio-medical waste management, with a focus on retroviral positive and HbsAg positive cases - Segregating and disposing of bio-medical waste - Coordinating with OT Incharge on all theatre-related issues Additionally, after disinfection, you will be required to take swabs and check the sterility of the operation theatre with the assistance of a Microbiologist / ICN.
