Job Description

Position: Senior Manager- Factory Operations

Location: Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete manufacturing operations of tea bag production including blending, packaging, and dispatch.
Drive production excellence through effective planning, scheduling, and resource utilization to meet primary and secondary dispatch targets.
Ensure adherence to ISO standards, FSSAI and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Monitor machine performance (OEE), wastages, downtime, and quality deviations; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives .
Implement strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices ensuring zero-incident workplace culture.
Collaborate with Production planning, Supply Chain, and Quality teams for production planning and timely dispatch.
Drive manpower optimization, skill enhancement, and leadership development across production and engineering teams.
Continuously identify and implement cost-saving, efficiency improvement, and sustainability initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 12-18 years in FMCG / Tea / Beverages manufacturing with minimum 5 years in a factory leadership role.
Prior experience in Tea Bag manufacturing lines preferred.
Strong understanding of blending, packaging automation, quality, and maintenance operations.
Exposure to TPM, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and ISO audit management.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
