Role Overview: As a Senior Operations Expert in Transformer Manufacturing at our company, you will play a vital role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational excellence across our facilities. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in enhancing efficiency and supporting our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product line and factory managers to develop and facilitate programs, projects, goals, and metrics that enhance manufacturing performance. Drive synergies among transformer manufacturing facilities in the region. - Provide guidance and support in overseeing transformer manufacturing processes, managing resources efficiently, and implementing best practices to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost (SQDIC) targets. - Work closely with the Global Product Group Operations team to implement best practices and ensure the adoption of the latest manufacturing technologies across the APMEA region. - Lead and oversee manufacturing automation and digitalization projects to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance production capabilities. - Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large capital expenditure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required specifications. - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to transformer manufacturing to identify areas for improvement. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines, while embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, factory management, or related roles. - Hands-on mentality and deep understanding of the power transformer manufacturing environment. - Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and delivering results in complex organizations. - Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with a clear passion for self and others" development and change. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. - This role may require travel within the HUB APMEA region, up to 35%.,
