Job Description

Role Overview: As a candidate for this role, you will be expected to have a basic understanding of processes and products in the banking industry, particularly focusing on Product / Domain Knowledge. Your responsibilities will include keeping up to date with changes to products and processes, possessing and applying basic expertise to your area of work, and being aware of process changes communicated by your TL / Unit Manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for operations work that is straightforward and repetitive, as well as possessing basic knowledge of KYC Documents CDD guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Perform operations work that is straightforward and repetitive - Understand processes and products with basic expertise - Possess basic knowledge of KYC Documents CDD guidelines - Keep up to date with changes to products and processes - Quickly adapt to changes in processes, projects, etc. - Deliver required output in TAT and Accuracy - Process and make decisions as per the Process Note / Departmental Operating Instructions manual - Report/escalate exceptions to supervisors - Identify and report all exceptions on non-compliance with standard controls - Report system/applications issues on time - Exercise discretion in decisions and tasks assigned - Possess the ability to understand work plans and organize work effectively - Identify sudden changes at the processing level - Raise issues when tasks are at risk - Understand operational risks and escalate issues to senior management - Uphold values of precision accuracy and contribute towards quality work - Adhere to service level agreements and ensure accuracy in data reporting - Communicate clearly and understand instructions accurately - Work in a team with good interpersonal skills - Analyze processes and data to improve processes and policies - Understand and execute actions contributing towards achieving business strategies Qualification Required: - Banking knowledge skills - Process skills - Decision-making skills - Analytical skills About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank that values purpose-driven individuals who are eager to make a positive impact.
