Job Description

As an Operations employee at Standard Chartered Bank, your role will involve performing various operational tasks with precision and accuracy. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Product / Domain Knowledge** - Perform straightforward and repetitive operations work - Have a basic understanding of processes and products - Possess basic knowledge of KYC Documents CDD guidelines - Stay updated with changes to products and processes - Be aware of process changes communicated by TL / Unit Manager - **Process Management** - Quickly adapt to changes in processes and projects - Deliver required output in TAT and Accuracy - Ensure all instructions related to the unit are processed within agreed timeliness - Report or escalate exceptions to the Supervisors - Identify and report all exceptions on non-compliance with standard controls - **Capacity Planning** - Understand work plans and organize work effectively - Identify sudden changes at processing level - Raise issues when tasks are at risk - Complete assigned work efficiently - **Operational Risk Management** - Understand various risks at maker level - Escalate issues to senior management - Comply with Group / Country KYC/CDD Guidelines - Take ownership for identifying and rectifying risks - **Behavioural Capabilities** - Perform tasks accurately and thoroughly - Uphold the values of the Group and Company - Adhere to Service Level agreements - Report accurate data to management - Incorporate creativity and innovation into assignments - **Client Centric** - Create impact through professional behavior - Understand customer service requirements - Respond promptly and accurately to customer needs - **Communication** - Communicate clearly and accurately - Understand instructions and documentation clearly - **Problem Resolution** - Provide data for root cause analysis - Speak up when in disagreement - Anticipate challenges and develop contingency plans - **Managerial Capabilities** - Stakeholder Management - People Management - Change Management - Data Analytics - Strategy Formulation & Implementation About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered Bank is an international bank focused on making a positive difference for clients and communities.
