Senior Node.js Developer

As a Smart Node.js (NestJS) Developer with 3.5+ years of experience, your role will involve developing high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS in a modular and scalable architecture. You will work in AI-powered development environments such as Cursor, Copilot, and Codeium to increase velocity and quality. Using prompt-based coding techniques with AI assistance, you will build APIs, services, and features aligned with an AI-first development strategy. Collaboration with product, AI, and frontend teams will be essential to integrate intelligent workflows into enterprise-grade platforms. Ensuring code quality, performance, and security through modern testing and DevOps practices will also be part of your responsibilities. Your qualifications should include a minimum of 3.5 years of backend development experience in Node.js with NestJS, a strong understanding of prompt engineering, and the ability to integrate AI features like NLP, classification, automation, and smart decisioning via APIs. Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and scalable backend systems is required, along with experience in enterprise-level development environments emphasizing code modularity and architecture ownership. Strong debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization skills are also necessary. Preferred skills for this role include hands-on experience with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT, proficiency with TypeScript, knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and background job queues, as well as familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
