Senior Node.Js Developer

As a software developer at Dreamcast, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust server-side applications using Node.js, Laravel, and Nest.js. Your role will involve designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms. You will also be tasked with managing databases, optimizing queries, and implementing data storage solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Participate in code reviews to maintain quality, troubleshoot and debug applications - Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality - Contribute to architectural decisions and improvements for highly scalable applications - Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend application capabilities - Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives - Work closely with product managers to align development with business objectives - Mentor junior developers to provide guidance on best practices and coding standards Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - 5+ years of experience in software development focusing on Node.js and Laravel - Strong understanding of Nest.js framework - RESTful API design and development knowledge - Experience with AWS and Redis - Hands-on experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL Additionally, you should have: - Keen understanding of microservices architecture principles - Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git) - Solid problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in a team - Experience in Agile software development methodologies - Excellent communication skills - Passion for coding and delivering high-quality software solutions - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Willingness to learn new technologies and expand skill sets Desired skills include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, knowledge of CI/CD processes, skills in agile methodology, PHP, TypeScript, and team collaboration.,
