Senior Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting multiple vendor routers, switches, SDWAN, and load balancers. You will also be managing and supporting private cloud network infrastructure in a multi-VR environment, ensuring seamless support for overlapping private customer networks. Your role will involve adhering to HIPAA and PCI-DSS requirements to maintain a secure network infrastructure, providing evidence for security compliance audits. Additionally, you will be maintaining and supporting a multi-tenant private cloud infrastructure, engaging in direct communication with customers, hardware/software vendors, and service providers. Your expertise will be crucial in finding solutions to complex network transport problems across various teams and technologies. You will lead troubleshooting efforts within the data center network, external WAN connectivity, and Internet-based connectivity. In this position, you will independently review and verify changes/solutions of high complexity, ensuring governance and change management practices are followed. Your role will also involve leading network-related improvement projects in the private cloud environment to meet business needs and customer requirements. Acting as Tier-3/4 support, you will troubleshoot and resolve any network problems while maintaining organizational SLO, SLA, and business continuity programs. On-call support will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 7 years of network experience in large-scale global environments, including installation, maintenance, and ongoing support of routers, switches, SDWAN, and load balancer solutions. Designing and delivering solutions for customers within budget and on time is essential. Solid experience in configuring and supporting data center switches, WAN routers, SDWAN solutions, data center firewalls, network load balancers, and AWS Public Cloud network is required. Experience with Voice-over-IP protocols, BGP routing, Equinix Fabric, CloudFlare Magic Transit DDoS, network troubleshooting tools, and managing junior and mid-level network engineers will be beneficial. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, along with the highest network industry certifications (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, etc) or equivalent work experience is preferred.
