L2 Support - CS/IMS CORE Engineer
Your day to day:

In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Design, create and load data configuration, perform software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

Assure planned work activities, network rollout, configuration build and load, software upgrades and parameter changes in CS/IMS network ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities
With these skills, you are a great candidate:
Very good knowledge of core network principles for 2G/3G technologies.
Expertise in Ericsson MSC-BC, MGW and STP, and Ericsson core network elements.
Knowledge of Unix, NFV, vMSS, and VoLTE.
Strong knowledge of core network protocols, including C7, SIP, and Diameter.
Proficient in analysing and interpreting traces (e.g., Wireshark, IRIS, network element traces, and logs).
Capable of designing and creating services within MSC configuration.
5-7 years of experience in Ericsson Core CS Network Operations and Maintenance activities.
Ericsson & Huawei core network training and certificates, or equivalent, are advantageous.
Rich experience (2-6 years) in L2 CS/IMS Core Engineering.
In-depth and hands-on knowledge of MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, IMS (P, I, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM, DRA).
Great conceptual understanding of IMS evolution and trends, including IMS subsystems, functionalities, and IMS SIP services call flows.
Practical knowledge of VOLTE, VOWIFI scenarios, and related technologies.
Excellent debugging skills and experience in analysing IMS logs (UE side).
Expertise in various network protocols, including SIP, H.248, SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, and Diameter.
Ability to deploy, migrate, and integrate IMS nodes with other nodes on bare-metal Linux or cloud environments.
Proficient in analysing proper call flow requests, responses, and updates using tracing tools to capture SIP, TCP, UDP, and other LTE-EPC and IMS protocols.
Experience in network performance assessment, audits, and network performance enhancements (optimization) on a regular basis.
