Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Chevron. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, implement, and maintain large-scale network infrastructure using various protocols and technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and applications into the network architecture.
Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Conduct regular network audits and performance tests to identify areas for improvement.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
Experience with network management tools such as Cisco IOS-XE, Juniper EXM, or similar platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues and develop creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
