Senior Microbiologist

You will be joining Horizon Biolabs Pvt Ltd., a GLP compliant Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratory in Hyderabad, India. As a candidate with an MSc in Microbiology and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputed Pharma Testing Lab/CRO/Pharmaceutical Industry, you will play a crucial role in the microbiological activities of the laboratory. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee and manage all microbiological activities, including testing, analysis, and research. - Supervise and lead a team of microbiologists, providing guidance, training, and evaluation for optimal performance. - Review and interpret test results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. - Identify and implement improvements to existing microbiological processes, methods, and techniques for enhanced efficiency and productivity. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all microbiological activities, including test results, procedures, and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards. - Act as the Single Point of Contact for day-to-day operations in the Microbiology Laboratory. - Face Customer and regulatory audits. **Qualifications Required:** - MSc in Microbiology - Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputed Pharma Testing Lab/CRO/Pharmaceutical Industry - Familiarity with Microbial enumeration test, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Test, Sterility testing, Bacterial Endotoxin Test, Environmental Monitoring, and Microbiological Assays - Experience in Protocol preparation, Report preparation, and Method Validations - Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Strong communication and documentation skills - Willingness to relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana Horizon Biolabs Pvt Ltd. offers a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund and yearly bonus.
