Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing Automation Test suites from scratch (Selenium-Cucumber). Develop, maintain, and execute sprint wise automation test regression suite.
2. Test sprint wise tickets and maintain detailed test artifacts (test plan, test execution, test results) in Jira sprint wise.
3. Maintain sprint wise automation suite in Git and run regression every sprint from Jenkins/any other CI/CD tool.
4. Raise bugs in Jira and coordinate with Dev/BA team till closure.
5. Write detailed API tests and execute them and log results (inbound and out bound).
6. Develop and Run performance tests and validate Application resilience.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps engineers, and IT operations, to ensure the platform meets the needs of the organization and enables the delivery of high-quality software products.
Educational Qualifications / Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 2-5 years of experience in Test Automation.
3. Strong experience in test automation (Selenium-Java), developing automation framework from scratch, API automation, cross browser testing, multi tab testing.
4. Expert in adding new automation scripts to suite every sprint, maintain existing scripts and run E2E scripts for every sprint.
5. Good understanding of Agile scrum practices and religiously update test artifacts in Jira.
6. Ability to write test plans and test strategies for Cloud apps and AI/ML applications is an added advantage.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
