Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Siemens EDA, you will play a crucial role in developing the next generation RTL-to-GDSII solution. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Owning and driving the design and development of various pieces of the RTL synthesis technology, logic optimizations, and low power synthesis. - Utilizing your 2-5 years of proven experience in software development to guide and lead the team towards project completion. - Applying your expertise in C/C++, algorithm, data structures, Verilog, VHDL, Formal verification, and Dynamic Power to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Leveraging your problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize RTL and gate-level logic for area, timing, and power. - Collaborating effectively with a globally distributed team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. - Contributing to a multi-functional team environment and demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech or M.Tech in CSE/EE/ECE from a reputed engineering college. - Good knowledge of C/C++, algorithm, and data structures. - Previous experience in RTL synthesis tool development is desirable. - Familiarity with parallel algorithms, job distribution techniques, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Tcl.
