Senior Member of Technical Staff- Java-OCI

Role Overview: You have the rare opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation, AI-driven cybersecurity solutions at cloud scale within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security and Compliance Platform Engineering organization. This role involves ingesting and processing massive volumes of telemetry and security event data across OCI using advanced techniques like generative AI (GenAI), large language models (LLMs), and machine learning (ML. Your goal is to build intelligent detection, response, and mitigation systems to deliver autonomous, adaptive security capabilities for protecting OCI, Oracle, and the global customer base against evolving threat landscapes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and drive end-to-end engineering efforts, including design, development, test infrastructure, and operational excellence - Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet critical requirements for scalable, highly available, secure multi-tenant services in the cloud - Mentor and guide junior team members on technological aspects - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver product features on time and with high quality - Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that may impact team execution - Assist in integration with various external application teams and guide the integration process - Stay updated on various Oracle Cloud technologies to evolve cloud provisioning and enablement processes continuously Qualifications Required: - BS/MS degree or equivalent in a related technical field with 5+ years of overall experience - Experience in building and designing microservices and/or cloud-native applications - Strong expertise in databases or building big data systems, including ETL pipelines - Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and ability to think on your feet - Proficiency in OS, networks, distributed systems, and designing fault-tolerant systems - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Kotlin, Python, C#) and container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes - Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate details effectively Preferred Skills: - Experience with Architectural patterns for High Availability, Performance, Scale Out architecture, Disaster Recovery, Security Architecture - Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and operational aspects of cloud setup - Exposure to at least one cloud service provider (AWS/OCI/Azure/GCP) - Experience in implementing container monitoring tools and CI/CD pipelines Please Note: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the provided job description.,
