Senior Medical Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure efficiency.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Document findings and maintain thorough records of all tests and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians.
• Assist in the development and optimization of laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with research scientists on various projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety and best practices.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
