Coding Claim Edits Coder:

We are hiring experienced, certified Senior Medical Coders with extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT, HCPCS-II & Modifiers, NCCI Edits, LCD, NDC, etc., and excellent communication skills.

· 5 to 10 years of experience in Medical Coding and at least 2-5 years of claim editing experience.

· Strong knowledge of Surgery coding or Multispecialty procedure-based E/M coding, modifiers, NCCI Edits, MUE, NCD, LCD, infusions & injections.

· In-depth knowledge of ICD 10, CPT, Surgery procedures, Revenue codes, and medical terminologies.

Responsibilities:

· Process Coding-related payer-specific edits for the hospital and professional claims.

· Review charge sessions that require resolution via claims system edits.

· Resolution of coding-related edits and denials (NCCI, NCD, LCD, MUE) with appropriate modifier application and using updated coding guidelines.

· Identify and resolve issues with denied or rejected claims.
