Senior Medical Coder- Claim Edits

We are hiring experienced, certified Senior Medical Coders with deep expertise in facility (hospital) claim edits and denials management. Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT®, HCPCS-II, modifiers, NCCI edits, LCD/NCD guidance, MUEs, and payer-specific compliance requirements. Strong communication skills and effective collaboration across revenue cycle teams are essential.

Experience Requirements

• 5–10 years of medical coding experience, with demonstrated mastery of Coding Clinics, CPT Assistant guidance, NCCI Guidelines/Policy Manual, and hands-on experience with 3M, Epic, and FinThrive applications.
• 2–5 years of claim edit experience, including charge review, revenue code validation, with a focus on revenue integrity.
• Expertise across multi-specialty facility edits and denial management for:
• E/M services
• Surgical coding (Series 1–6)
• Pathology
• Radiology
• Medicine services
• Skilled in identifying edit conflicts, applying correct modifiers, and resolving denials based on NCCI, MUE, LCD/NCD, and payer policies.
• Advanced facility coding exposure, including:
• Coding for ED facility and professional/critical care services
• ICD-10-PCS medical/surgical coding (trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, etc.)
• Appropriate application of modifiers.
