Senior Media Analyst

As a Senior Media Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research on journalists, verifying and updating media-related data, annotating articles, and ensuring data accuracy. Your role will involve collaborating with content teams, analyzing data, and improving content quality. Key Responsibilities: - Research and validate journalist data, including affiliations, contact details, and recent work. - Monitor media sources, news platforms, and social media to track journalist movements and updates. - Review and annotate articles with appropriate tags, classifications, and metadata. - Work with content teams to enhance annotation frameworks and guidelines. - Evaluate key data to ensure accuracy and credibility of news articles. - Maintain consistency in annotations across datasets. - Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data, content, or media assets. - Manage and categorize content for usability and accessibility. Qualification & Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field. - Familiarity with media industry trends and journalist networks. - Proficiency in using search engines, media databases, and social platforms for research. - Prior experience in media research, journalism, or data analysis is a plus. - Experience with annotation tools and content management systems is an advantage. - Ability to interpret large amounts of data and multi-task. - Strong communication, presentation skills, and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Exposure to HITL workflows and annotation processes.,
