Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Engineer (Diploma in Mechanical) with 3 to 5 years of experience in the machine manufacturing industry. The role is hands-on and involves working directly on machines, fabrication, and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform machine fabrication, assembly, and operations work as per production requirements.
Work on machining processes.
Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and complete machines as per drawings and guidelines.
Assist in machine testing, installation, and trial runs.
Carry out routine inspection of parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
Handle production tools and instruments accurately.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain proper housekeeping (5S) on the shop floor.
Report production issues, defects, or breakdowns to supervisors/engineers.
Ensure adherence to safety rules and company policies during production work.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in machine shop and assembly operations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and machine shop practices.
Familiarity with hydraulics/pneumatics in machine assembly (preferred).
Basic understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
