As a Senior Manager Test Environment & Release Automation at our client's organization in Pune, your role involves merging environment coordination and DevOps automation to ensure efficient testing processes. You will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end test environments, collaborating with various teams, and automating tasks using tools like Jenkins. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading the provisioning and coordination of integrated test environments across multiple applications - Automating test environment tasks such as provisioning, monitoring, and health checks using DevOps tools - Implementing a structured environment booking system to manage conflicts and optimize resources - Collaborating with QA and business teams to automate environment readiness workflows - Managing daily environment tasks including health monitoring, data refreshes, and stakeholder coordination - Resolving environment issues in collaboration with infrastructure, DBAs, and development teams - Coordinating deployment pipelines with Release Managers and DevOps leads - Defining and enforcing test environment policies, standards, and governance Your core skills and requirements for this role include: - 8-12 years of IT experience with at least 6 years in Test Environment Management roles - Hands-on experience in DevOps automation, specifically with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline orchestration - Expertise in automating environment provisioning, sanity checks, and deployment coordination - Understanding of configuration management, test dependencies, and version control - Exposure to batch scheduling, test data refresh cycles, and troubleshooting in integrated systems - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams Preferred or good to have skills include Jenkins scripting, familiarity with other DevOps tools, knowledge of banking/insurance industry workflows, and experience with Agile delivery models.
