Your key responsibilities

• Solution Architect a. Roles and Responsibilities i. Create or select the most appropriate architecture for a System (or systems), such that it suits the business needs, satisfies user requirements, and achieves the desired results under given constraints. ii. Create and be responsible for the overall technical design (System Design Document - SDD) of the System consisting of project standards, the functional design and the database design -the blueprints which provide the map. iii. Facilitate high level planning for the development - overall steps for creation of the solution (Low Level Design - LLD) from the blueprints. iv. Develop integration test cases and include these in integration test plan. These test cases shall focus primarily on testing the interfaces of the modules. Each test case shall be described along with the input and output data, and the results expected after each test case. v. Thorough understanding of the technical and quality standards and ensure adherence to those to maximize the future investment value and minimizing costs. vi. Shall be most visible during the requirements and design stages of a project lifecycle but shall proactively monitor the adherence of the implementation to the chosen architecture during all iterations. vii. Design and architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform, considering business requirements, performance objectives, and security best practices. viii. Implement AWS cloud services and features, including compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoring solutions, to meet business needs and optimize resource utilization. ix. Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and applications in the cloud environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices, x. Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to control access to AWS resources and enforce least privilege principles across the cloud infrastructure. xi. Implement security monitoring tools and processes to detect and respond to security threats and incidents in real-time, ensuring timely remediation and continuous improvement of security posture. xii. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain a secure and compliant cloud environment. xiii. Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through effective resource provisioning, performance monitoring, and capacity planning, leveraging AWS cost management tools and best practices. xiv. Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI, or other automation tools to streamline cloud provisioning, configuration, and management tasks. xv. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions on AWS, including data backup, replication, and failover strategies, to ensure business continuity and data resilience. xvi. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to internal teams on AWS cloud services, security best practices, and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Skills and attributes

• B.E./ B. Tech/ MCA and preferably M. Tech in IT or Comp. Sc.

Experience

• iii. Candidate having relevant certification for the proposed solution shall be preferred.
• v. Experienced in cloud technologies, including their integration with database, network, and storage solutions.
• vii. Have the ability to address specialized and complex infrastructure architectural issues.
• i. Extensive experience in implementing specific security architectures of similar complexity as described in the tender.
• ii. Shall at least be B.E./ B. Tech/ MCA and preferably M. Tech in IT or Comp. Sc
• iv. Shall have a minimum12 (twelve) years experience in IT/ architecture design/ solution architecture.
• vi. Possess extensive detailed working knowledge and acumen in enterprise architecture best practices, including, but not limited to, logical and physical data architectures, network communications, operating systems, applications, data base servers, application servers, web servers, server consolidation, server performance, middleware, etc.
• ix. Candidate having relevant certification for the proposed solution shall be preferred.
• viii. Have extensive experience in infrastructure architecture discipline(s) of similar complexity as described in the tender.
