Position Summary...

What youll do...

About the team : LOBO is a Shipping label generation Platform integrating with twenty plus carriers to ship out packages from Walmart and Sam s warehouses, Pharmacies, Customers for returns, and seller facilities within US and internationally . LOBO aims at standardizing how shipping services are accessed across Walmart - abstracting carrier complexity and providing a unified interface for generating labels, scheduling pickups, shopping for shipping rates rate and more .

What You ll Do:

Manage a high performing team of 15 to 20 engineers and own complete E2E delivery
Drive design, development, implementation, and documentation
Excellent stakeholder and program management skills
Establish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering, and scrum metrics
Execute with a platform and AI-first mindset in everything that is built as part of the product.
Interact with Walmart engineering, product and business teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines.
Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products
Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.
Mentoring and coaching team and help them grow.

What You ll bring:

10+ years experience in building products and managing high performing teams
Have led a team of 10-12 engineers and owned accountability of E2E delivery
Excellent stakeholder and program management
Extensive experience building services using Java, Springboot, React JS
Advocacy for engineering and operational excellence.
Proficient in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs)
Experience in creating high performing, highly scalable and distributed middle-tier services, preferably using event-driven architecture in Azure or GCP
Experience on large-scale end-to-end implementations
In depth knowledge on Restful/SOAP web services
Knowledge on unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms like Sonar
Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills, ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years experience in software engineering or related area.
